The Texas A&M Forest Service "Fire Department Programs" offers assistance programs and training opportunities for fire departments that build their capacity to protect life and property.
The Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS) Grant Assistance Program provides reimbursement grants to career fire departments and combination fire departments with 21 or more paid members. The program provides tuition reimbursement grants.
